I thought I'd share things I've found through the years that have helped me to keep a positive mindset and be the best version of myself. I think it's so important to focus on yourself and do the best for you. For example having a good night sleep, exercise and eating good food.

MY RECENT FINDS

So I've been wanting to share some things that I've been loving recently that are helping me to stay focused, being the best version of myself and to grow more as a positive happy person. Through lockdown, I've been loving reading, one being 'Good vibes, good life'. I came across a podcast one day that had Vex King on and he spoke about his book and I had to get it for myself. It's all about being the best version of yourself. Looking at practising self-care, positive lifestyle habits and overcoming fear. I got mine off Amazon and would recommend if your looking for a positive book that gives you motivation to work on yourself.

The five-minute journal is something I've heard about for while but only recently got. I've had my own journal since 2013 and still write in it to this day. I'm constantly writing things from my best memories to thing that I've been through/ going through, I literally will write whatever I want. However the five minute journal is a little different to that, you write in it every morning and night (only something little) for example in the morning there are three things. What you are grateful for, what would make today great and daily affirmations. At night only two things. Amazing things that happened today, how could I have made today even better. 

I love the routine of waking up and writing and then just before I read at night writing in it. What's great is it doesn't take long at all hence the name and I got it again from Amazon.

LISTENING TO PODCASTS AND MUSIC

I'm constantly listening to music from R&B, oldies, certain pop and rap. Recently I've just been playing my chilled playlist that's a mix of

'Frank Ocean, godspeed'

'Rence, Baby Blues'

'Marc E. Bassy, Morning'

'Ruel, Free time' 

'Daniel Caesar, Kali Uchis, Get you'

Every now and then I'll listen to a podcast and the one of been listening to recently has been 'Deliciously Ella, delicious ways to feel better' and the one I loved was 'How to become a truly positive person'. I love the interviews they have with people like Vex King and Fearne Cotton, I would recommend listening if you're looking for something that is calming but opens your eyes to things you might not of thought about.
